What causes stretch marks?
Stretch marks are caused by rapid stretching of the skin. In most cases, stretch marks are caused by rapid weight gain, such as during pregnancy or hormonal changes.
Stretch marks have the appearance of striations (like cracks) that tend to turn red during the inflammatory period and eventually turn white over time resembling scars.
How to remove stretch marks without surgery?
With time, some stretch marks may fade and it may take a few years. White stretch marks are not easy to treat, so it is best to treat them as soon as they appear when they are red or pink.
Today, there are effective treatments to reduce or even erase stretch marks.
At Dermagyms we have a protocol to treat stretch marks that combines several treatments:
- Potenza: The latest technological breakthrough for effective stretch mark treatment. Currently considered the world’s best RF (radiofrequency) Microneedling, it effectively treats both red and white stretch marks! Visible results from the 1st session.
- Multipolar radiofrequency: Stimulates collagen and will tighten the skin. This will be the first step of the session.
- Venus Viva and/or micro-blading (depending on the stretch marks): Micro perforation at the level of the stretch marks which will create a cellular renewal so that the skin heals better, becomes smoother and visibly reduces the stretch marks.
