At Dermagyms we use the Venus Versa™️ which offers, along with its Venus Viva™️ applicator, a state-of-the-art non-surgical solution for skin resurfacing.
It works by using small pins that safely transmit energy through the skin's surface, creating tiny lesions that the body seeks to heal naturally. This process has the effect of repairing visible signs of damage on the skin's surface.
This treatment combines NanoFractional™️ radio frequency and SmartScan™️ technology to reduce acne scars, scarring from wounds or other skin conditions, rosacea, enlarged pores, deep wrinkles, textural irregularities and stretch marks.
This treatment can be performed on all skin types.
Sessions are short, 30 minutes maximum with minimal recovery time; patients can return to their daily routines as soon as the treatment is completed and resume their daily skin care routine after 24 hours.
All areas of the face and body can be treated.
Before each treatment: Make sure your skin is clean. Do not apply any lotions, creams, powders, perfumes or makeup before your treatment session, and avoid tanning. Remove all jewelry from around the treatment area. If there is a lot of hair covering the treatment area, shave it beforehand.
The session lasts a maximum of 30 minutes.
Most patients receive three treatments per area. The exact number varies depending on the individual and the area being treated. Consult with our technician to determine the best treatment plan for you.

The NanoFractional™️ radiofrequency treatment begins:
- You will feel tiny pins tingling your skin, which will be followed by a small discharge. You'll feel your face heat up, like after a sunburn.
- Skin resurfacing treatments with Venus Versa™️ may be slightly uncomfortable, but not painful. You will feel intense heat, similar to the sensation of a sunburn, and your face will be red immediately after the treatment. For more aggressive treatments, you may apply a topical pain relieving cream to reduce discomfort.
Cleaning the treated area.
Treatment ends:
- Your skin will become red and warm, like after a sunburn. You can reduce this sensation by fanning yourself or exposing yourself to fresh air.
For 24 hours, do not apply anything to your skin, not even water. The feeling of heat should disappear within 24 hours.

The Ideal Candidate: Anyone who shows signs of skin damage or imperfections that affect their skin texture.
For safety reasons, you may not be able to receive this treatment if you have the following conditions:
- an internal defibrillator/pacemaker or other active electrical implant
- a permanent implant or injected substance around the treatment area
- an active condition in the treatment area (e.g., irritation)
- a history of skin disease or very dry skin
- cancer or a history of cancer (including pre-cancerous mole)
- Serious concomitant diseases (e.g., heart disease)
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- immune system deficiency
- Taking blood thinners
- a facelift or eyelid surgery within the last three months
- resurfacing treatments or chemical peels within the last three months
- cosmetic injections within the last two weeks
- Advil, Tylenol or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs within one week of your treatment
- any surgery within the last 6 months
- a tattoo or permanent makeup in the treatment area
- excessively tanned skin
