Why does the skin sag?

The more the years go by, the more we age. The skin ages as well, it is a natural process. The skin eventually wrinkles, withers and becomes slack.

There are several types of sagging skin:

- Sagging due to pregnancy: Generally, with time and the elastin in the skin, the skin will firm up, but traces may remain.
- Sagging due to weight loss: This sagging can only be treated by surgery such as a facelift.
- Sagging due to aging: The decrease in collagen and elastin fibers as we age causes the skin to sag.

From the age of 50, the skin becomes slack and can be aggravated by the sun, smoking, menopause and the effect of gravity.

Solutions to fight against sagging skin on the face

- Multipolar radiofrequency with ultramagnetic field (Venus Freeze): The energy of the multipolar radiofrequency will stimulate collagen and give a tensor and lifted effect to the skin. 6 to 8 sessions are necessary in order to obtain the maximum result. The result will be long-lasting and will improve with time. A recall may be necessary every year or every 2 years.

- Injections : By strategic anchor points established by the injecting physician, a firming and lifting effect will be visible instantly.

For best results, it is strongly recommended to combine these two treatments.
